Qualifications

• ASN (Required) and BSN (Preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of related clinical nursing experience.
• 1 year Pediatrics experience preferred; Registered Nurse in DC required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Shared Leadership and Magnet Journey.
• Ensure nursing practice is based on evidence of best practice.
• Participate in Performance Improvement processes.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and document thoroughly.
• Delegate to ancillary staff and demonstrate leadership.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Assist orientation of new staff and preceptors.
