Job summary

MedMark Treatment Center in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Full Time Patient Care Monitor/Greeter to help maintain safety and order in the clinic while providing receptionist coverage when needed. You will greet patients and assist staff to ensure smooth intake and orderly operations.

The requirements include a high school diploma and at least 1 year of experience in an office or clinic setting; security training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year in an office/clinic setting.
• Security training preferred where available.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees and patients at all times.
• Verify patient IDs at entry to the facility.
• Create orderly waiting lines and supervise movement in common areas.
• Perform crowd control after dosing and ensure timely egress.
• Report incidents to the Operations/Clinic Director as needed.

Full Time- Patient Care Monitor/Greeter

MedMark Treatment Center is looking for a respectful,alertand vigilant greeter/ patientcare monitor tomaintainoverallsafety andorderof the clinic facility.The greeter/patient care monitor may also provide backup coverage toreceptionist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the protection of all employees and patients
• Ensure that each patient entering the building has an I.D.
• Createsorderlywaiting line; have patients stand in single file while they are waiting to receive medication.
• Performs crowd control (makes sure that after dosing, patients leave the clinictimely, unless they have an appointment to see a staff person).
• Eliminateloitering, congregating in the parking lot and premises
• Report critical incidents that occur in parkinglotor on premises.
• Contact local authorities and cooperate with authorities inan emergency situation, as needed.
• Respond to calls for assistance in preventing interference or disruption of operations (maintains order and control).
• Reports anddocumentsincidents whenever trouble or problems occur to the Operations Director and/or Clinic Director.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building, protecting the property from damage and destruction
• Performs security check of facility at regular intervals throughout the day.
• Attends staff meetings, in-service training as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain professional attire at all times, including name badge and paraphernalia that identifies you as a Security Guard.
• Be friendly,courteousand helpful to all disciplines, reception, clinical and medical.
• Provide receptionist coverage as needed
• Perform other related duties asdeterminedbysupervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 years’ prior experience in an office/clinic setting.
• Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred
• Able toestablisha positive rapport with patients and mustdemonstratea non-judgmental andacceptingattitude toward the chemically dependent person.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
