MedMark Treatment Center in Albuquerque is seeking a Full Time Patient Care Monitor/Greeter to maintain safety, order, and smooth operations. You will greet patients, verify IDs, and provide backup receptionist coverage while supporting security duties throughout the clinic.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a background check with a drug screening. Prior security training is preferred, and you will work to protect staff and patients in a sensitive healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should demonstrate ability to interact with patients calmly and professionally.
• Must be able to obtain a satisfactory drug screen and background check.
• Past security or law enforcement training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Protect employees and patients and maintain safety and order in the clinic.
• Verify each patient entering has an I.D. and manage orderly waiting lines.
• Perform crowd control and ensure patients who receive medication leave promptly after dosing.
• Eliminate loitering and report incidents to supervisors as needed.
• Coordinate with local authorities during emergencies and assist with security checks throughout the day.
• Provide receptionist coverage when required and attend staff meetings.

Full Time- Patient Care Monitor/Greeter

MedMark Treatment Center is looking for a respectful,alertand vigilant greeter/ patientcare monitor tomaintainoverallsafety andorderof the clinic facility.The greeter/patient care monitor may also provide backup coverage toreceptionist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the protection of all employees and patients
• Ensure that each patient entering the building has an I.D.
• Createsorderlywaiting line; have patients stand in single file while they are waiting to receive medication.
• Performs crowd control (makes sure that after dosing, patients leave the clinictimely, unless they have an appointment to see a staff person).
• Eliminateloitering, congregating in the parking lot and premises
• Report critical incidents that occur in parkinglotor on premises.
• Contact local authorities and cooperate with authorities inan emergency situation, as needed.
• Respond to calls for assistance in preventing interference or disruption of operations (maintains order and control).
• Reports anddocumentsincidents whenever trouble or problems occur to the Operations Director and/or Clinic Director.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building, protecting the property from damage and destruction
• Performs security check of facility at regular intervals throughout the day.
• Attends staff meetings, in-service training as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain professional attire at all times, including name badge and paraphernalia that identifies you as a Security Guard.
• Be friendly,courteousand helpful to all disciplines, reception, clinical and medical.
• Provide receptionist coverage as needed
• Perform other related duties asdeterminedbysupervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 years’ prior experience in an office/clinic setting.
• Training from a law enforcement school or other security training is strongly preferred
• Able toestablisha positive rapport with patients and mustdemonstratea non-judgmental andacceptingattitude toward the chemically dependent person.
• Satisfactory drug screen and background check.
