AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a part-time Patient Access professional to perform Medicare compliance reviews and support patient financial responsibilities. The role requires coordination with insurance providers and pre-authorization processes, ensuring accurate patient data and timely payments.

Candidate should have strong customer service skills, knowledge of HIPAA, and the ability to work Sat and Sun 7am-7pm with reliable teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Mature judgment in dealing with patients, physicians, and insurance representatives.
• Able to use Microsoft programs and database software.
• Experience in customer service related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues Advance Beneficiary Notices of Noncoverage as needed.
• Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects payments or establishes payment plans.
• Coordinates with utilization management staff for pre-authorization issues and ensures patients have necessary logistical information.
