Job summary

Adventurous Playground is seeking a reliable Weekend Party Manager to oversee birthday parties and private events on Saturdays and Sundays. You will supervise party staff, coordinate setup, ensure smooth transitions, and deliver a fun, organized, stress-free experience for families.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong organization, excellent customer service, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while keeping events on schedule and safe for all participants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in events, hospitality, recreation, childcare, customer service, or team leadership preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Friendly, professional, and confident with customers.
• Comfortable supervising and directing a team.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with children and families.
• Must be available to work weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all scheduled birthday parties and private events during the shift.
• Review the party schedule and package details before each event.
• Ensure party spaces are clean, organized, and ready before guests arrive.
• Confirm included items are prepared and available.
• Keep parties on schedule from setup through cleanup.
• Manage transitions between parties for on-time starts.
• Coordinate food deliveries, vendors, entertainers, and other services.
• Lead and supervise party hosts and weekend staff.
• Assign responsibilities for setup, guest support, cleaning, food service, and breakdown.
• Address staff concerns and communicate issues to ownership.
• Welcome families, serve as main point of contact, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure safety procedures and waivers are followed.
