Prepare meals per recipes, maintain safety and portion control, and collaborate with staff to minimize waste while delivering high-quality meals in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Basic math for portions and cooking measurements.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Experience in healthcare or senior living preferred.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure portions, temperatures, and presentation meet standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized kitchen.
• Utilize leftovers to create marketable dishes.
• Complete production and tally sheets.
• Report equipment malfunctions and shortages promptly.
