Job summary

Lemontree Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Supervisor for The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. The part-time role, weekends only, 7:00am-3:00pm, oversees day-to-day EVS operations, leads a team, ensures cleanliness, safety and infection control.

Responsibilities include training staff, scheduling, inventory, compliance with OSHA, collaboration with nursing and facilities, and budget awareness.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; degree/cert in Environmental Services or Healthcare Administration is a plus.
• Experience: at least 3 years in environmental services or facilities management in healthcare, with 1+ year in supervision.
• Skills: strong leadership, organization, communication, and infection-control knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise environmental services staff and coordinate daily tasks.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to staff.
• Conduct regular inspections and document deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules for various areas.
• Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, facilities, and administration.
• Document and report incidents related to environmental services.
• Assist in managing the departmental budget.
