Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Dependable and able to follow a schedule.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Friendly, respectful and a team player.
• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Healthcare setting familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and put away dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the kitchen, dish room, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Empty trash and help with kitchen cleanup.
• Help serve residents in the dining room when needed.
• Work together with coworkers to get the job done.
• Treat residents, families, visitors, and coworkers with kindness and respect.
• Report any changes in a resident’s condition or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Be flexible and willing to help wherever needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director.
