Job summary

City of Celina is seeking a PT Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker to keep our parks and Downtown Square clean and welcoming. You will perform custodial and grounds tasks during community events, games, and tournaments, ensuring safe, tidy facilities.

Shifts are weekends, with day and evening hours up to 20 per week. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a Texas Class C driver's license, and be able to pass required pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Class C driver’s license required.
• Available Friday–Sunday.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
• Must possess valid Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide custodial and grounds support during city recreational games, league tournaments, and at park facilities such as the Downtown Square.
• Perform trash pickup, restroom cleaning and restocking, and general facility upkeep.
• Support maintenance tasks on weekends with day and evening shifts, up to 20 hours per week.
