Job summary

Hayden Industrial is seeking a Packager I to safely execute initial packaging, wrapping, and basic material transport for CRAH units. You will prepare, secure, and store units per quality standards and safety protocols, with opportunities to train on cranes, forklifts, and wrapping robots.

The role emphasizes precise documentation, equipment operation, and adherence to OSHA guidelines in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to obtain overhead crane and forklift certification (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Unit Transfer & Setup: Use overhead cranes and rigging to move finished CRAH units onto pallets.
• Packaging Application: Apply desiccant packs, protective covers, corner guards, and wrap.
• Securing & Wrapping: Strap units to pallets and operate wrapping robots.
• Quality & Documentation: Photograph wrapped units at stages before storage or transport.
• Transport & Storage: Use material handling equipment to move and stack packaged units.
• Secondary Support Tasks: Clean workspace, assist with basic assembly, prep materials.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow OSHA rules and SOPs.
