Job summary

Deschutes Brewery is seeking a full-time weekend shift Packaging Machine Operator to run our packaging line and ensure accurate labeling and quality checks. The role supports a team-based production floor, with opportunities for wage growth through training and performance.

Starting pay is $18.36/hour with potential increases for experience, plus a $3 night shift differential and a path to higher wages through the training program and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Eagerness and ability to learn our specialty brewery equipment and machinery.
• Focused attention on training for safety and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a team-based environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous manufacturing or production or forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line equipment and ensure quality checks (dates, batch numbers).
• Participate in labeling changes and other production tasks.
• Support safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work area.
