Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma in Elma, IA is seeking a Staff Nurse to manage operations of the assigned unit and supervise the clinical team, ensuring residents receive a high standard of care.

You will mentor staff, promote infection prevention, and help maintain adequate staffing levels while upholding facility culture and quality outcomes. A valid Iowa RN license is required; SNF experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa RN license (or compact state) required.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.

As a staff nurse you are instrumental in managing operations of your assigned unit. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by assisting with supervising the activities of all clinical staff on your assigned unit, providing guidance and education to clinical staff, assisting with instilling a positive and inclusive facility culture, ensuring established infection prevention practices are maintained and ensuring adequate staffing for our resident’s needs. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive an unparalleled standard of care.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa (or compact state) Registered Nurse (R.N.) license; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable.
