Job summary

Senior Helpers of Blue Ridge is seeking compassionate weekend/overnight caregivers to support seniors in the Waynesboro, VA area. You will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and provide companionship during weekend and/or overnight hours.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and reporting changes to management. Requirements: reliable, able to work odd hours, pass background check; a driver's license is

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work overnight and weekend shifts.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
• Prepare meals and help with feeding as needed.
• Administer medication reminders and monitor health conditions.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Report any changes in client condition or concerns to management promptly.
