Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Security Team Member to maintain a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff during weekend overnight hours. The role involves security rounds, monitoring, incident reporting, and prioritizing security over maintenance tasks.

You will respond to emergencies, coordinate with on-call staff, and support after-hours needs while upholding the community’s Life with Purpose™ values. Weekend shifts require vigilance and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
• Willingness to participate in required training and ongoing staff development.
• Able to perform overnight shift responsibilities and maintain vigilance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior security rounds.
• Monitor buildings, entrances, parking areas, and grounds for unusual activity.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and after-hours calls.
• Unlock and secure doors and control access as required.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to residents, visitors, and team members.
• Perform light maintenance tasks when security duties permit.
