Job summary

Target Technology Center in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Lead Data Center Maintenance Technician for weekend overnight shifts. You will lead Engineering, Raised Floor and Central Plant teams, install and maintain equipment, monitor building systems with SCADA, WebCTRL and PME, and drive issue resolution.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience, a High School diploma or GED, and either a licensed electrician status or strong mechanical certifications.

Responsibilities

• Installing and Maintaining Equipment – works with engineering to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
• Monitoring Building Systems – uses SCADA/WebCTRL/PME to ensure systems operate to specifications.
• Using Team Specific Applications – develops proficiency in WebCTRL and related tools.
• Responding to Escalations – acts as first responder to major equipment issues.
• Taking Ownership of a Major System – oversees a major power or cooling system.
• Training – conducts on-site/off-site training and mentoring.
• Managing Vendors – coordinates with vendors for PM/maintenance activities.
• Resolving Issues or Problems – collaborates with teams to reach resolutions.
• Writing Methods of Procedure (MOPs) – writes MOPs for maintenance activities.
• Continuously Improving – drives process improvements with teams.
