Job summary

Main Line Health's Lankenau Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technician for our 2/4 Weekend Program. You will assist in the OR under RN supervision, set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to support the Surgeon during procedures.

Responsibilities include handling specimens, helping with patient positioning and transfers, and assisting with OR turnover. Education: accredited Operating Room Technology program; licensure: Certified Surgical Technologist required upon hire if training

Qualifications

• One year of Operating Room experience preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited course in Operating Room Technology.
• Certified Surgical Technologist certification required upon hire if training took place after 29/12/2020; preferred if training before that date.

Responsibilities

• Check and set up instruments, perform counts, and scrub in to assist the Surgeon at the table during invasive and surgical procedures.
• Handle specimens, assist with patient positioning and transfers, and participate in OR turnover.
