University of Missouri Health Care is seeking an Operating Room Supply Clerk to manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment in the operating room at University Hospital in Columbia, MO.

The role ensures supplies are available for procedures, collaborates with physicians and staff, and supports procurement, storage, and cost control in a busy OR.

Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00pm–10:30pm with variable weekday hours; on-site, full-time position with comprehensive MU Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in healthcare or inventory management preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies and equipment in the operating room.
• Check stock levels, identify low-stock items, and initiate requisitions.
• Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Assemble and deliver case carts for use during procedures.
• Coordinate procurement and storage of disposable items.
• Maintain organized, clean storage areas and proper labeling.
• Process store requisitions and purchase documents.
