Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license where required by assignment.
• BSN degree from an accredited school (preferred).
• Operating Room experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the surgical area.
• Practice guided by nursing process, policy, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain focused area of expertise for care; provide interventions within care program.
• Advances professional governance; collaborates across professions; delegates to others to advance care.
• May lead a small team and mentor others in nursing practice.
