Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking an RN Charge/CNL for the Main OR to run the board and support weekend operations. This full-time role covers Saturday through Monday, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, with no on-call required, and offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible experienced OR RNs.

The RN Charge oversees nursing unit operations, supervises staff, coordinates care with surgical teams, and ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and workflow efficiency during the shift.

Formación

• 1–2 years OR nursing experience required.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and mentor staff in a busy OR setting.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise nursing and support staff on the unit.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching.
• Oversee patient care planning and implementation.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for patient flow.
• Ensure effective communication during handoffs and rounds.
• Monitor bed assignments and resource utilization.
• Lead quality and safety initiatives and compliance with policies.
