Job summary

i9 Sports in Ashburn, VA is seeking enthusiastic Volleyball Coordinators for the Fall season to mentor players aged 7–16. You will run practice sessions alongside volunteer parent coaches, teaching basic skills and officiating games to ensure a fun, safe, and educational experience.

Shifts are weekends only, at venues Virginia Academy Ashburn and Purcellville Baptist Church in Purcellville. Training is provided and fully compensated, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience playing or coaching volleyball.
• Strong knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with kids and parents.
• Patience, high energy, and a passion for youth sports development.
• Ability to solve problems on the fly.
• Must be available for Fall Season dates and weekends.
• Must be 16+ years old and have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop fundamentals of volleyball to 7–16 year olds.
• Lead practice sessions with volunteer parent coaches.
• Officiate youth volleyball games with fair play and control.
• Ensure safety and inclusive, encouraging atmosphere during practices and games.
• Maintain open communication with parents, players, and staff.
• Complete mandatory pre-season training (fully compensated).
