Job summary

The City of O'Fallon, MO is seeking a reliable Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker for weekend shifts. Starting pay is $17.85 per hour with work generally March through November. Flexibility exists to accommodate May–August schedules for back-to-school needs.

You'll assist in maintaining City parks, with duties spanning turf maintenance, cleaning facilities, and event prep. Candidates should be self-motivated, respectful, able to work in teams or alone, and take pride in contributing to O'Fallon's

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds 100 feet.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to withstand weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain athletic field turf, string trimming.
• Manage non-turf areas.
• Clean pavilions, parking lots, restrooms and playgrounds.
• Assist with festival and event preparation.
• Support weekend park maintenance routines.
• Maintain park amenities, including painting and repairs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
