Job summary

Sequoia Living is seeking a maintenance technician to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and minor renovations across units and common areas. You will use hand and power tools, report inventory, and respond to on-call requests while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Weekend availability is required; we offer an hourly wage between $28 and $32.93, with benefits including employer-paid medical, dental & vision, PTO, holidays, a 403(b) match, tuition assistance, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends or weekends shift as required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience for working with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance needs in units and common areas.
• Perform minor repairs in facility and apartment units.
• Report maintenance inventory status.
• Perform minor modifications, carpentry, and painting work.
• Conduct preventive maintenance such as lubrication, belt changes, cleaning, filter changes.
• Use a wide variety of hand and portable power tools.
• Perform apartment renovations including painting and repair.
• Conduct inspections and document results in logs.
• On-call duties as assigned.
• Work independently to cover shifts as needed.
• Recognize and report concerns regarding residents’ status to supervisor.
