Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our weekend team (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon). You will provide direct OT services, develop personalized treatment plans, and support patients on their path to independence in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role requires state licensure, CPR certification, and a degree (Master's preferred or Bachelor's with experience).

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
