Schedule: Part-Time | 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Pay: $36-$42 per hour

Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking an experienced and compassionate Weekend Nursing Supervisor (LPN/RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing operations during weekend shifts.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Florida-licensed RN or LPN with experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, restorative nursing, or geriatric care who enjoys leading a team and ensuring residents receive exceptional, safe, and compassionate care.

As Weekend Supervisor, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Associate Director of Nursing (ADON) to support staffing, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and resident satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Provide hands-on clinical leadership and supervision to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff.

• Partner with the DON and ADON to ensure smooth weekend nursing operations.

• Monitor staffing levels and make adjustments to maintain appropriate resident care coverage.

• Conduct nursing rounds and monitor the quality of resident care.

• Ensure medications, treatments, and physician orders are administered accurately and according to facility policies.

• Assist with resident assessments and provide direct nursing care when needed.

• Monitor changes in residents' conditions and ensure appropriate follow-up and communication.

• Participate in physician rounds and communicate clinical concerns to providers and nursing leadership.

• Support admissions, including welcoming residents and families and ensuring a smooth transition into the facility.

• Assist with individualized care plans and discharge planning.

• Address staff concerns, resident complaints, and grievances professionally and appropriately.

• Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote teamwork and professional development.

• Participate in staff evaluations and performance management as needed.

• Promote compliance with Florida regulations, state survey requirements, infection prevention standards, and facility policies.

• Assist leadership with state surveys, inspections, audits, and quality assurance initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted Florida RN or LPN license.

• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program.

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, restorative care, or geriatric nursing.

• At least 1 year of nursing supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
