RN/ LPN Weekend Nursing Supervisor

Casa de Ramana is hiring a RN/ LPN Nursing Weekend Supervisor.

The Weekend Nursing Supervisor acts as the extension of the Director of Nursing on the weekend. He/she has responsibility for coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the care provided to all residents on their assigned shift on the weekend.

Salary based on expeirence.

The RN/ LPN Weekend Nursing Supervisor is Saturday and Sunday, 7am to 7pm, rotating every other weekend. There is a possibility of every weekend if the candidate is interested.

Job Responsibilities of the RN / LPN Weekend Nursing Supervisor for Casa de Ramana :

• Serves as the clinical leader for assigned shift and performs such duties as designated by the Director of Nursing to maintain all essential nursing department functions.
• Functions as a clinical resource, assisting and coaching the staff using nursing process and practice guidelines in making clinical decisions based on data and assessment of the residents.
• Demonstrates ability to evaluate the quality of care provided to the residents.
• Conducts rounds on each unit to monitor staff assignments, and resident concerns and makes adjustments as dictated by circumstances and resident needs.
• Communicate effectively with family and visitors.
  
  
  

Experience and Qualifications for the RN Weekend Nursing Supervisor:

• Two years experience in the long term care setting and at least one year of experience in leadership and supervision of peer staff
• Must hold a valid RN/LPN nursing license in the state of Massachusetts.
