We rely on and trust our Nurse Supervisor (RN) to provide independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating nursing care. Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Care Specialists (CNA), and other personnel. May supervise other RNs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality nursing care focused on outcomes using the nursing process. Identify needs and contribute to discharge planning and follow-up.
  • Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Implement care plans effectively and efficiently, focusing on resident-centered outcomes, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain resident care and comfort by applying current nursing practices.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in practicing state
  • Current CPR certification (must obtain within 90 days if not already certified)
  • Recent clinical experience or education in geriatrics
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations
  • Ongoing pursuit of Continuing Education Credits
  • Regular attendance capability
