Job summary

German Centre Home is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor - RN to lead our nursing team and oversee resident care on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. This part-time weekend role offers competitive hourly pay of $47.00–$52.00 based on experience.

You will supervise RNs and CNAs, follow physician orders, monitor residents' conditions, and maintain a safe environment. On-call rotations include extra compensation.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered MA RN license.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day activities, managing nurses and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Taking full responsibility for residents' nursing care, monitoring conditions, following physician orders, and applying recognized nursing standards.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in residents' conditions, initiating or assisting with interventions, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.
• Instructing nursing staff on policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with administrative and clinical standards.
• On-Call one weekday shift per week and every 6th weekend and holiday on-call rotation. Weekend/holiday on-call rotations include an additional $300 compensation.
