Job summary

University of Missouri Health Care is seeking a compassionate RN to join the Medical Bridge Unit. You will assess patient needs, plan and deliver nursing interventions, manage pain, and educate patients and families about medications to empower their health journey.

Qualifications

• Missouri Board of Nursing RN license or RN licensure compact valid for primary state of residency.
• Minimum of 1 year RN nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and nursing needs, set goals, and apply nursing actions including discharge planning.
• Assess and reassess pain using appropriate tools and address self-reported symptoms promptly.
• Educate patients and families about medications, effects, and safety.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
