Job summary

Abbott Nutrition is seeking personnel at the Columbus Plant to manufacture and package liquid nutrition products for adults and children. The role involves strict adherence to quality and safety standards within a fast-paced production environment.

You will operate processing equipment, perform routine cleaning and maintain documentation for compliance. This position requires weekend night shifts and lifting up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Knowledge of food processing techniques and documentation requirements.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, troubleshoot equipment, and operate powered industrial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the quality and safety system.
• Manufacture liquid adult, pediatric and medical nutrition products.
• Handle weighing, staging and manufacturing of bulk ingredients with related equipment.
• Operate scales, pumps, container rinsers and homogenizers as part of the process.
• Perform cleaning tasks including CIP/COP and routine housekeeping.
• Document manufacturing steps per work orders and procedures.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, Abbott policies and procedures.
