Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Materials Working Lead to support our AIM Mod Center in Columbus, GA. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coordinate daily production activities, coach team members, resolve material issues, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards on a Weekend Night Shift: Fri–Sun, 6:30 pm–6:30 am.

You will monitor WIP, plan upcoming jobs, support cell setup, operate equipment, and address material, tooling, fixture and equipment issues while

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in manufacturing, production control or logistics.
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV).
• SAP manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments and production priorities to meet goals.
• Provide hands-on floor support by monitoring WIP, planning jobs and resolving issues.
• Lead and coach team members, reinforce safety, quality, and productivity.
• Track production performance and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Support quality activities, including non-conformances and holds.
• Drive continuous improvement using RCCA, 6S, and other initiatives.
