Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton is seeking a per diem weekend night phlebotomist to draw venous and capillary samples, perform EKGs, and transport specimens to the lab. Under supervision, you will follow physician orders and document demographics and test requests, ensuring accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This position requires a high school diploma, 1 year lab experience, and ASCP/NCA certification if available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of lab setting experience including phlebotomy and EKG preferred.
• ASCP or NCA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Accurately collect venous or capillary specimens for tests.
• Perform EKGs on outpatients.
• Enter patient and test data accurately into the laboratory system.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; ensure safety and infection control.
