The ideal candidate has phlebotomy training and customer-service-oriented experience, with strong time management and communication skills. ASCP/NHA/AMT certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Formal phlebotomy training required.
• ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification, phlebotomy, specimen labeling.
• Specimen verification, processing, shipment and front loading on instruments for testing.
• Pre-analytical processes including registration and ordering.
• Provide outstanding customer service through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Perform clerical tasks including telephone communications, report generation and faxing.
