Job summary

Virtua Health in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist for weekend nights. This part-time role supports patient care by collecting and processing specimens according to lab protocols, with attention to accurate labeling and timely results.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work.
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Patient identification, phlebotomy, specimen labeling
• Specimen verification, processing, shipment and front loading on instruments for testing
• Performs pre-analytical processes including registration, and ordering
• Provides outstanding customer service by demonstrating effective and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills.
• Performs clerical functions including but not limited to telephone communication, report generation and faxing
