Job summary

BSA Hospital in Amarillo, TX is seeking a weekend night shift, full-time Surgery (OR) Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN will provide direct patient care in the operating room, perform pre- and post-operative assessments, and collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and BLS certification (within 14 days of hire).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: Previous acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and perform assessments.
• Develop care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
