Job summary

Siemens Energy in Fort Payne, AL seeks an experienced NDE Technician for weekend night shifts (Fri-Sun 5:00 PM–5:30 AM). You will perform Level II NDE inspections (PT, VT, UT, PAUT) on large generator components and document findings in electronic systems.

OT and shift changes may be required for training or production needs. You must have a High School Diploma and 2+ years of NDE experience with Level II in PT and VT; UT/PAUT certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years NDE experience with Level II in PT and VT required.
• UT and PAUT certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform certified NDE Level II inspections in PT, VT, UT, and PAUT.
• Prepare detailed documentation of findings in electronic systems.
• Train other technicians on VT, PT, UT and PAUT requirements to certify and recertify as Level II.
• Support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
