Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a weekend night shift maintenance technician in Indiana. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on a variety of equipment and conveyors, keeping systems in peak condition after hours.

The role requires multi-craft expertise, ability to read drawings, and experience with CMMS and PLCs. Proficiency in MS Office is expected, with weekend work and off days on Tue–Fri.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems including PLCs and CMMS
• Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment in good, safe working order
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing and packing equipment and electrical panels
• Execute preventive maintenance in a timely manner
• Document preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and projects
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Ensure equipment starts properly at shift start
• Maintain and repair conveyor systems and warehouse facilities
• Identify problems by observing mechanical devices and diagnose repairs as needed
