Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for night shifts in Roseville, CA. This role involves direct patient care, accurate documentation, patient and family education, and coordination with the interdisciplinary hospice team in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds a California LVN/LPN license with 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or medical/surgical settings, and is flexible with hours, including weekend

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LVN/LPN in California.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; hospice or medical/surgical preferred.
• Understanding hospice philosophy and end-of-life care.
• Must be flexible in work hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per State Nurse Practice Act, including end-of-life care.
• Document patient services accurately and timely to reflect care plan.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and self-plan of care.
• Coordinate hospice services with the interdisciplinary team and report needs.
• Assist with equipment and supplies using aseptic technique.
• Manage pain and symptoms and monitor patient response.
