Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks an experienced RN for an Emergency Department role in Wisconsin on a full-time weekend night schedule. ACLS, PALS, and TNCC are required; active WI license or compact licensure is essential.

A two-year nursing degree is required, BSN preferred, with at least two years of ED experience. Responsibilities include caring for a broad age range, triage using the ESI system, coordinating care, documenting in the ED record, and collaborating with the care team to ensure

Qualifications

• Active WI RN license or compact licensure is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (ATCN preferred).
• Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for ED patients from pediatric to geriatric.
• Weekend night shifts 7pm–7am (Fri–Sun).
• Respond to crises, monitor life support, and administer meds.
• Document care in ED records and coordinate with the team.
• Prioritize patient flow and collaborate with providers and departments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness of supplies.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computerized patient documentation systems.
