Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Dumper/Back Up Machine Operator to join our Hanover, PA team on the weekend night shift. You will feed packaging materials to production lines, move skids, and operate barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.

The role requires basic reading, writing and math, a forklift license, ability to lift 80 lbs, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Thursday–Saturday, 5:55 PM–5:55 AM, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Requires knowledge and skills of barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
• Able to lift a minimum of 80lbs.
• Required forklift license.
• Required to wear non-slip shoes and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supplies production lines with needed materials.
• Places skids of cardboard/barrels at tables and packing stations.
• Uses forklift or hand jack to transport skids of finished product to warehouse
• Operates barrel filling lines, rod machine and labelers.
• Helps/backfills warehouse personnel to load trucks, unload incoming materials.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position
