Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Guard Shack Clerk for the Weekend Night Shift (Fri–Sun, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM). You will split time between the guard shack and the distribution office, greeting drivers, verifying documents, and coordinating with warehouse staff to keep goods moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution, shipping/receiving, or warehouse admin.
• Proficient with MS Office and warehouse software.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and time management.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
• Able to rotate between guard shack and office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in incoming truck drivers, verify documentation.
• Manage inbound/outbound dock appointments and records.
• Rotate between the office and the guard shack, maintaining professionalism.
• Upload and process shipping documents in our TMS (Transportation Management System).
• Release loads and prioritize tasks with input from warehouse leadership.
• Provide support and direction to drivers on site.
• Maintain order, safety, and accuracy in both guard and administrative functions.
• Communicate effectively across departments to ensure flow of goods remains efficient.
