Job summary

Southern Utah Veterans Home Ivins is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The role offers part-time hours with weekends and nights, paying $15.50–$16.50 per hour, and focuses on maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and equipment.

The Dishwasher will wash, dry, and organize dishware, assist with basic kitchen tasks, and follow health and safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to work weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and equipment.
• Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
• Assist with basic food preparation as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
