Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Imaging Technologist for weekend night shifts (Fri-Sun). The role involves CT procedures, diagnostic x-ray exams, and support across modalities to maintain department workflow.

The position emphasizes patient safety, accurate RIS charges, and ongoing staff development. Experience in imaging and CPR certification are required, with ARRT registration and Ohio licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required; Radiologic Technology Program completion; associates or bachelor's preferred.
• License/Certification: ARRT Radiographer; Ohio Radiologic License; CT/MRI registry preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in imaging preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care, ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.
• Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by policy; ensures a high level of accuracy.
• Performs a variety of CT procedures both professional and non-clinical with emphasis on optimal image quality.
• Performs diagnostic x-ray exams with consistent and optimal image quality.
• Performs a variety of exams with experience in at least one modality and willingness to be trained in others based on licensure.
• Assists with Medical staff duties as possible to maintain workflow through the departments.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Attends in-service programs and department meetings.
