CNBC seeks a Weekend Editor to lead coverage Thursday through Sunday on our revamped homepage, delivering fast, authoritative coverage of the biggest business, markets, technology and economic stories of the weekend.
The ideal candidate will edit and shape reporting with reporters, curate homepage placements for real-time decision-making, and ensure accuracy and compelling storytelling under deadline pressure.

CNBC is seeking a sharp, experienced Weekend Editor to help lead coverage during a critical part of the news cycle. This editor will work on our newly revamped homepage Thursday through Sunday, driving fast, authoritative coverage of the biggest business, markets, technology and economic stories of the weekend.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent news judgment and can quickly identify the most important angle and help shape coverage as stories develop. They will be a strong story editor, able to work with a rotating cast of reporters from across the newsroom to sharpen reporting, develop compelling angles and ensure CNBC delivers the journalism its audience needs. This person should be a self-starter with a genuine passion for business news and the subjects CNBC covers. They should thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and bring deep curiosity about the companies, people and economic forces shaping the news.
This role is based in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, and reports to CNBC Digital’s Deputy Managing Editor.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $90,000-$125,000
