British American Household Staffing is seeking an experienced weekend nanny/family assistant to care for two young children, 4 months and 2 years, in a warm New York home. The role is primarily Saturdays and Sundays 12:00–8:00 pm with potential for additional hours and occasional evenings.

Live-in or live-out arrangements are possible, with a strong emphasis on long-term compatibility and a collaborative partnership with the family.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for infants and young children.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, dependable and able to work with minimal direction.

• Willingness to travel internationally and accompany family as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with parents to provide attentive, engaging care for two children.
• Establish and maintain daily routines including meals, naps, and play.
• Prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks.
• Assist with family food prep, laundry, and light household tasks.
• Run errands, organize household spaces, and manage groceries/pharmacy needs.
• Support the family's parenting style and communicate proactively with parents.
