Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and provide excellent patient care.

The role involves operating imaging equipment, maintaining supplies, and collaborating with radiologists to achieve high-quality diagnostic images. Qualified candidates have an accredited MRI program and 0-2 years of experience, with ARRT/ARMRIT eligibility and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification or eligible within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Operate MRI and processing equipment and maintain supplies.
• Educate patients and address questions to ensure understanding.
• Maintain MRI safety zones and prepare patients for scans.
• Document clinical history and correlate with exam findings.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize results.
• Monitor MRI equipment and report issues promptly.
• Provide post-exam instructions and support to patients.
• Maintain attendance and comply with hospital policies.
