AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is seeking an MRI Technologist Weekend Worker to perform MRI imaging procedures, assist patients, and ensure safety and quality under regulatory standards. The role requires careful patient handling, accurate documentation, and adherence to safety guidelines in a busy radiology department.

The position offers weekend 12-hour shifts, proficient knowledge of MRI systems, and strong communication with colleagues and patients.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in radiology and completion of MRI training program.
• ARMRIT and RT(MR)(ARRT) registrations are required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during exams.
• Adhere to MRI safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation in EMR and PACS.
