Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and MRI procedures.
• ARRT Registry or ARMRIT; CPR Certification; MRI Certification Preferred or within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and immobilization of patients; selecting technical factors for optimal MRI quality.
• Initiates IVs for contrast media per policy and safety standards.
• Archive images onto optical media and verify studies in PACS workflows.
• Document patient history, charges, and department records accurately.
• Assist in scheduling examinations and ensure proper labeling and identification of films.
