Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Morning Anchor/Reporter to present weekend news clearly and engagingly across platforms. On non-weekend days, you will gather and present facts through interviews, investigations or observations.

The WRIC Weekend Morning Anchor/Reporter serves as the primary presenter of weekend news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers. On non-weekend workdays, the Weekend Anchor/Reporter reports and collects, analyzes and presents facts about newsworthy events by interview, investigation or observation for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers.

Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions. In addition, must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
COMPENSATION RANGE: Annual Salary $51,000 - $54,000 – commensurate with experience
