Ultradent Products Inc in Utah is seeking Process Technicians for press setup and operation of injection molding machines to produce precision molded plastic parts. The role requires a strong background in plastics processing, quality checks, and hands-on troubleshooting.

The position follows a 5/8 schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM) and involves documentation, tooling setup, and robotic part removal. Applicants should have 5+ years of injection molding experience and a HS diploma.

Formación

• Three years minimum experience in a plastic manufacturing facility as a process technician/set up technician.
• Five+ years of injection molding experience as a Process Technician.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate injection molding machines for precision molded plastic parts.
• Monitor molding process to ensure product quality and adherence to production schedule.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions and perform repairs or adjustments to maintain cycle times and quality.
• Prepare quality and production documentation prior to release to production.
• Set press tonnage and mold damage protection, ensure first piece quality, and setup End of Arm tooling for robotic removal.
• Pull and set injection molds and handle materials, molds and tooling with proper care.

Process Technicians are responsible for the proper set up and operation of injection molding machines for the production of precision molded plastic parts. Monitors the molding process to ensure product quality. Executes daily production tasks in accordance with production schedule. 5/8 Schedule (MON-FRI 6AM-2:30PM) (United States of America)General Responsibilities:Actively participate in continuous improvement initiativesDiagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, continuous process control by monitoring and making adjustments to maintain standard cycle times, product quality, equipment performance, and identifies potential maintenance needs/issuesEnsure all quality and production documentation is prepared prior to releasing to productionEnsure that press tonnage setting & mold damage protection is set.Ensure first piece quality prior to releasing machine to productionSet up End of Arm tooling for robotic part removalStart and process molding machinesProgram and operate injection molding machinesPull and set injection moldsResponsible for proper handling and care of all materials, molds and toolingEnsure a positive work environment and awareness of company goals and objectivesQualifications:Strong foundation in intermediate mathematicsStrong familiarity with quality measurementsFamiliarity with mold tooling and componentsDemonstrated capacity to work collaborativelyPrevious molding set-up experienceAbility to communicate effectively, both verbally and writtenUnderstanding of molding processing including the nature of plasticsDemonstrated problem solving and root/cause analysis skillsDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeSystematic Molding I – RJG, Paulson, or other accreditationThree years minimum experience in a plastic manufacturing facility as a process technician/set up technicianExperience/Schooling or Degree Required:Experience: 5+ years of injection molding experience as a Process Technician and is able to demonstrate evidence of knowledge.High School diploma or equivalent.Ultradent is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
