Job summary

DOCS Health in Texas seeks an Oral Surgeon to provide dental exams and treatment to our Military Service members. The role mainly requires weekend work with occasional weekdays on an as-needed basis, supporting a mobile and fixed clinic model.

Requirements include DDS or DMD with advanced education in Oral Surgery, an active unrestricted Texas license, CPR/BLS, and DEA license as required. Experience with military settings and comfort with mobile dentistry are preferred; weekend availability is

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited US program with Advanced education in Oral Surgery.
• Active and Unrestricted State Dental License
• DEA license as required.
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working with mobile dentistry and equipment - preferred
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Simple surgical extractions
• 3rd molar extractions
• Partial or full bony impactions (can voucher out if needed)
• Soft tissue impactions (can voucher out if needed)
